Bard performs to adoring fan base

I was pleased to be asked to document BARD’s album launch at Woodburner last Friday. Its always a pleasure to be involved with the UK’s burgeoning folk movement as it cuts swathes through so much of the existing predictable music scenes. The crowd were unrestrained and riotous and the vaults under Waterloo Station rang loud with so much lyrical passion, musical excellence and general subversiveness that I now finally feel ok for never attending a Pogues gig.
